Information we collect from children

When a parent or guardian signs up for certain paid features, including but not limited to the Activity Journal and Transcript Builder, and that user’s associated email is verified, that user may optionally provide Application access to the child and enter personally identifiable information (e.g., name, email address, grade level) about the child into the Application. This information may be used to send reminders to the child if the parent account has chosen to allow child reminders in that child’s settings. We do not provide support or other communications with child users, nor are child users able to interact with other child users on the platform, including those under the same parent account. Child users’ data is only visible to the primary parent account, any secondary parent account(s) that the primary parent has chosen to share such data with, and the Homeschool Hall team and necessary providers who assist us in managing the Application.

Children who have been granted Application access by the parent account may, in accordance with the parent account’s settings for that child, also provide information about the child’s learning.

Homeschool Hall does not collect more information than is reasonably necessary to allow children whose parent account has provided Application access to utilize the Application.
